What We Believe
God
We believe in one God, who exists in three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit - and is the creator of all things
The Gospel
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose from the dead on the third day, and will one day return to judge the living and the dead.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and that all who believe in Him are born again and become children of God.
The Church
We believe in the importance of the Church as the body of Christ, and that every believer should be a part of a local church.
Baptism
We believe in the sacraments of baptism and communion, which are symbolic acts that remind us of our faith in Jesus Christ and our unity as the Church.
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God, and is the final authority in matters of faith and practice.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, who empowers believers to live a holy life and to witness to the world about Jesus Christ.
Unity
We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, regardless of race, gender, or denomination.
The Great Commision
We believe in the Great Commission - the call to make disciples of all nations - and that every believer has a role to play in fulfilling this mission.

At Union Church, Coonoor, we believe church is more than a place — it is a family. Our desire is to be a Christ-centered community where people from every stage of life can feel welcomed, encouraged, and loved.
Through worship, prayer, biblical teaching, and genuine fellowship, we seek to help people grow in their relationship with God and with one another.
